A 100-year-old man and a 102-year-old woman, who met in a home in Philadelphia, fell in love and got married, thus breaking the record for 'oldest couple' with combined ages (202 years) held by Guinness World Records.
According to the Guinness World Records website, the couple tied the knot on May 19, after seven years of dating, in the home where they both live.
Bernie Littman and Marjorie Fiterman met at a costume party at the senior residence and later discovered that they had both attended Philadelphia University at the same time but never crossed paths.
According to the website, which cites the Jewish Chronicle, Bernie Littman's granddaughter said that the two "are very lucky to have found each other and supported each other, especially during the pandemic."
It can also be read that the ceremony took place in the home where they both live and where they met.
