Raquel Madeira, mother of the singer who died in a car accident at the age of 46, gave an interview to Júlia Pinheiro.
Today, December 9, Júlia Pinheiro will broadcast a conversation with Claudisabel's mother, Raquel Madeira, in which she talks about the sentence handed down to the driver involved in the death of the singer, who lost her life in a car accident on December 19, 2022, on the Southern Highway (A2), near Alcácer do Sal, in the district of Setúbal.
Asked what she thought of the sentence, given that the driver involved was given a three-year suspended sentence, Raquel said:
“Extremely unfair. You can say what you like, spin it any way you like, but she killed her. She has no life left. There's no compensation that can pay for that, a life, let alone the life of a person who wasn't at all to blame for the accident.”
Not holding back his tears, he adds: “I said this in court and I'll say it again here: ‘I died on that road with her’.
