Founder Of Platform Used By Dominique Pelicot For Abuse Arrested



Isaac Steidl, founder of the dating site Coco.fr, which Dominique Pelicot used to recruit men and rape his ex-wife Gisèle Pelicot for 10 years, handed himself in to French police on Tuesday.


The man had been summoned by the court for providing an online platform for homophobic ambushes and sex crimes.


Isaac Steidl, 44, is being questioned by Paris detectives about the use of the site by criminals involved in more than 23,000 crimes, including rape, murder and pedophilia, reports The Guardian.


The same platform was shut down on June 25, 2025 by order of the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office and with the cooperation of Bulgaria, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Hungary.
