Hundreds Of Drones Caused Damage In Seven Regions Of Ukraine



Russia launched a hundred drones into Ukrainian territory on Monday night, causing damage in seven regions of the country, the Ukrainian air force said today.



According to Ukrainian authorities, 65 Iranian Shahed drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the country's air defenses.


Another 28 drones were disabled due to electronic interference caused by Ukrainian forces and did not cause any damage.


As a result of the attack, private companies, public infrastructure, residential buildings, houses and vehicles suffered damage in the regions of Odessa (south), Kyiv and Chernihiv (north), Sumy and Kharkiv (northeast), Poltava and Cherkasy (center).


There were power outages in the city of Uman in the Cherkasy region due to the attack, but power lines have now been repaired.


Several people were injured and received medical attention in the affected areas.
