The YouTuber says he has “a proposal ready” for those responsible for the app and claims that he has already met with other millionaires about the matter.
After rumors that Elon Musk was one of the candidates to buy TikTok, YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson - better known as MrBeast - has come forward as interested in making the deal to prevent the app from being banned in the US.
“Okay, fine, I’m going to buy TikTok so it doesn’t get banned,” MrBeast wrote on X. “With no irony whatsoever, I’ve had approaches from several billionaires since I wrote this, let’s see if we can get it done.”
In the meantime, the YouTuber shared a video on TikTok where he says he had a meeting with the aforementioned “billionaires” and, addressing those responsible for the company, states that he is “serious”.
“We have an offer ready for you, we want to buy the platform. The US deserves TikTok, let’s get together and let me save this platform,” said MrBeast in the video you can see above.
It is worth remembering that, unless there is some change, TikTok will stop working in the US from next Sunday, the 19th.
