Nvidia took advantage of the start of this edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, to unveil a new generation of graphics cards. Additionally, the company led by Jensen Huang also unveiled Project Digits, a “personal supercomputer with Artificial Intelligence.”
According to Huang's presentation, this Project Digits aims to give interested parties access to Nvidia's computing platform.
“It’s a ‘cloud’ computing platform that sits on your desk… It’s even a workstation if you want it to be,” Huang noted, according to TechCrunch.
In terms of capacity, Nvidia said that a single Project Digits unit can execute up to 200 billion parameters.
The launch is scheduled for May and some Nvidia partners will be able to purchase Project Digits for $3,000 (€2,891).
