Samsung and Apple Want Cell Phones with (Even) Bigger Batteries



Some of the biggest tech companies are working on new battery technologies to increase the capacity of their cell phones.


The information was initially released on a South Korean blog and then shared on the social network X by the page @jukanlosreve, noting that the objective is to invest in new materials capable of storing more energy without increasing the size of these components.


The page in question suggests that, starting next year, some Chinese cell phone manufacturers will launch phones with batteries between 7,000 and 8,000mAh in capacity.


Starting next year, major Chinese smartphone manufacturers plan to release smartphones with a standard battery capacity of 7,000mAh and up to 8,000mAh, while maintaining or even reducing device thickness.
