Real Madrid set up a clash with Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on Thursday, thanks to a 3-0 victory over Mallorca, thanks to goals from Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo Goes and Martin Valjent (the latter an own goal).
However, not everything was a bed of roses, particularly for the players' wives and families, who travelled to King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where the competition is being held, as evidenced by Cristina Palavra, Dani Rodríguez's partner.
"The exit was a bit complicated. We went with the children, and we didn't have security. The truth is that the boys from this country took photos of us up close and also harassed us", she said in statements made to the Spanish television station Esports IB3.
"The same thing happened to Natali, Dominik Greif's wife (...). We felt a bit helpless, because we had no one to protect us... The exit was very bad", added the wife of the Mallorca striker.
