Meta has appointed three new members to its board of directors and among them is the president and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White.
In his statement on the news, Zuckerberg said that the new members “will add more experience and perspective” that will help the tech giant “meet the great opportunities with Artificial Intelligence (AI), in wearables and in the future of human connection”.
It's worth remembering that Dana White is one of the best-known supporters of now President-elect Donald Trump and, as TechCrunch recalls, has appeared in videos and rallies during the Republican candidate's campaign.
