Hamas to Hand Over Bodies of Four Hostages on Thursday

Palestinian extremist group Hamas announced Tuesday it will hand over to Israel the bodies of four hostages, including two children and their mother, on Thursday as part of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

"We will hand over the four bodies of the occupation prisoners on Thursday, February 20, including the bodies of the Bibas family," Hamas chief negotiator Jalil al Haya announced today, according to the Spanish agency EFE.

Israel confirmed it had received information about the return of the bodies, ahead of the release on Saturday of six more hostages kidnapped by commandos of the Palestinian group in the attack on October 7, 2023.
