It looks like Sony and Microsoft may be expecting another competitor to take on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, with Valve (reportedly) developing a home console.
The information had already circulated in the form of rumors at the end of last year but, thanks to a new video from the eXtas1s channel on YouTube, the possibility gains a little more strength. Apparently, the console is being developed in conjunction with a new generation of the Steam Controller and also new virtual reality glasses.
The idea is to have a console on the market to compete with the consoles of this generation from Sony and Microsoft, with Valve counting on its partnership with AMD to create the technology needed to make this platform a reality.
As noted by the Insider Gaming website, Valve has not officially commented on these rumors so we will have to wait for more details from the company.
