On Friday, the Spanish Guardia Civil arrested two men suspected of breaking a man's legs to rob him in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza.
According to the Spanish press, which quotes a statement from the Guardia Civil, all those involved in the case - suspects and victim - are of North African origin.
The events took place in November last year, when the victim was walking along a street in the town in the early hours of the morning. At a certain point, he was surprised by four young men.
The men began shaking the victim, demanding all his belongings and, when he refused, the aggressors threw him to the ground and began kicking and punching him in order to rob him. As a result of the assault, the victim suffered fractures to his lower limbs.
An investigation was launched and the Guardia Civil has now managed to identify and arrest two of the attackers.
The investigation remains open in order to locate the other two suspects.
