Instagram Mimics TikTok Again with New Feature! Is It Another Copy?

The success of TikTok led Instagram to create a whole area - called Reels - dedicated to sharing short videos, and since then the two platforms have consistently increased the maximum length of these videos.

Now, Instagram Reels has added an option (already present on TikTok) that allows users to speed up the playback of the video being shown. To do this, simply press and hold either side of the video, something that can be useful with longer videos.

It's worth noting that Instagram is also working on a video editing app, called Edits, to compete with the (more popular) CapCut owned by the same company as TikTok, ByteDance.
