The Golden State Warriors suffered their second consecutive defeat, this time against the Miami Heat, 112-86, in a game marked by Jimmy Butler's return to the American Airlines Arena.
The 35-year-old was a starter against the team he represented between 2019 and last January, and even put up 11 points, six rebounds and two assists, which still proved insufficient to prevent Steve Kerr's men from falling apart.
A particularly 'inspired' display from Bam Adebayo, who recorded 27 points, eight rebounds and one assist in the trip to the US state of Florida, contributed greatly to this outcome.
With this result, the Miami Heat have now won 31 of their 72 games and climb to tenth place in the NBA's Eastern Conference. The Golden State Warriors, meanwhile, are sixth in the West with 41 wins.
