Rúben Pacheco Correia spoke to Cristina Ferreira in a special TVI broadcast where he recalled the life of Pope Francis, who died this Monday, April 21, at the age of 88.
The Azorean, who had the opportunity to meet the Pope a few times, recounted a conversation he had with the Pontiff that involved Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I've already received all the Portuguese, I only need to receive one, and that's Cristiano Ronaldo,” the Pope told Rúben.
The cook managed to get Dolores Aveiro and her family to meet the Pontiff, but the meeting between the footballer and Francis never took place. Then Rúben made another curious revelation.
"The Pope wanted to baptize Ronaldo's children. At the time, Georgina was pregnant with the twins [...] I don't know how this situation turned out [...] The Pope has also been weakened in recent years," said Rúben Pacheco Correia.
