Kelvin Momo Says Sorry for Ditching Sun City Gig

Kelvin Momo has apologised to Sun City Resort and it’s management for not honouring his agreement to show up for outside event that he was booked to perform this past weekend.

It’s very common for event organizers to push out false advertisements of their artist lineups, and this sometimes doesn’t go well for everyone, as fans are known to become violent and destructive. Sun City Resort isn’t one of those establishments that put out false advertisements. Whenever they publish their lineups, the necessary payments have already been made, so it came as a surprise to fans when they discovered that Kelvin Momo didn’t show up as promised during their last event.

In clearing the air, they released an official statement, calling out Kelvin Momo for his unprofessional attitude and as usual, fans began trolling and firing shots at Kelvin Momo.

Apologising for his unprofessional attitude, Kelvin Momo has issued a statement, stating that his absence was as a result of some unforeseen circumstances and miscommunications.

I would like to sincerely apologize to Sun City Resort, the event organizers, and most importantly, all the fans and guests for my absence and the disappointment caused by my non-attendance at the Outside Event scheduled for 16 August 2025. I understand the immense anticipation and excitement that surrounded my scheduled performance, and I deeply regret any inconvenience, frustration, or confusion caused by this situation. This was never my intention, and I take full responsibility for not being
present as expected.” The statement reads.

There were unforeseen circumstances and miscommunications that led to my absence, and I acknowledge that I should have responded more promptly and transparently to all parties involved. I am working closely with my team to ensure that something like this does not happen again in the future,” Kelvin Momo further explains.

Not pitching at event has become a reoccurring thing with Kelvin Momo. In may, Kelvin Momo failed to pitch at Cafe 69 & Piano Hub following an ill health.
