Cleveland-Bionca Ellis, 34, has been found guilty of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, attempted murder, tampering with evidence, and aggravated theft in the June 2024 stabbing death of 3-year-old Julian Wood outside a North Olmsted Giant Eagle.
The verdict was delivered by Judge John Russo, sentencing is scheduled for October 27.
During the trial, the defense argued Ellis was not guilty by reason of insanity, while prosecutors maintained the attack was driven by rage.
Julian’s mother, Margot Wood, testified about the unprovoked attack.
Ellis has been held on a $5 million bond since her arrest.
