Travis Scott has joined other artists in filling up the FNB Stadium, which boasts a 95,000-seat capacity. One of the biggest events held in Johannesburg in recent times, the show saw Travis Scott deliver an energetic performance.
Back in 2023, Travis Scott announced his Circus Maximus World Tour that will extend to 2025. During the span of the tour, Travis Scott is expected to visit cities in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, China, Japan, & United Arab Emirates.
In April this year, he announced the date for his South Africa show, Saturday, October 11, 2025. Tickets, which ranged from R200 to R400, sold out within a couple of months. On the D-day, he delivered an energetic performance that had tongues wagging.
While on the big stage in FNB Stadium, Travis Scott performed his chart topping FEIN single which featured Playboi Carti up to five times and for every performance he put up for the song, fans went gaga. His performance of Fein led to his “Utopia” album re-entering The Top 20 South African Apple Music album chart, seating at No. #19.
Scott’s recent showcase at FNB Stadium was remarkable and it reaffirms his status as one of the biggest Trapstar in South Africa and the world.
