Michael Sellers’ Last Gesture: Annual Birthday Flowers for Daughter Bailey After His Passing

Before he lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2013, Michael Sellers made sure his love would never miss a birthday.  He arranged for flowers to be delivered to his youngest daughter, Bailey, every year from her 17th birthday until her 21st.

Each bouquet arrived right on time — a quiet reminder that he was still with her in spirit. Just days before her 21st birthday, the final arrangement was delivered, along with one last handwritten note. In it, he called the flowers his final love letter until they meet again, asking her to live happily and stop crying for him.

Instead of sadness, Bailey felt comfort and joy reading his words.  His decade-long promise became a beautiful symbol of a father’s endless love — guiding his daughter into adulthood, even from beyond.
