They also point out other benefits, such as being rich in fiber. “If you're trying to lose weight, fiber can be important as it helps you stay fuller and satisfied for longer.”


Anti-inflammatory properties are also beneficial. “Almonds, especially skinned ones, have even more antioxidants.” They are also full of protein. “Protein-rich foods slow down digestion and keep you full.” In addition, protein is essential for muscle mass, says Samantha MacCleod.
