Singer Ariana Grande has taken everyone by surprise by announcing that she will be taking a break from work "unrelated to Wicked", the movie she stars in alongside actress Cynthia Erivo. In a story, the singer thanked her fans for their understanding.
"I love you all very much. I've decided to pause everything that isn't related to Wicked temporarily. Thank you in advance for understanding. Looking forward to everything that's to come. There's so much. See you soon," the artist wrote in an Instagram story.
After four years of waiting, Ariana released the album Eternal Sunshine in March this year. She had been away from music since her album Positions, released in 2020.
