Microsoft workers in China who have an Android cell phone will be forced to exchange it for an iPhone.
The information was shared by Bloomberg, which notes that brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and even Huawei will no longer be permitted by Microsoft, with each of the impacted workers receiving an iPhone 15.
Microsoft explained that the decision is due to the fact that the Microsoft Authenticator and Identity Pass apps are mandatory for workers to access professional devices and that, given the absence of Google Mobile Services in China, Android cell phones are no longer an option.
