More Famous Than Ronaldo And Taylor Swift? Zuckerberg Believes So

Meta's co-founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, stated in emails exchanged with executives and members of the technology giant's board of directors that he is “the best-known person” of his generation.

Born in 1984, Zuckerberg belongs to the so-called Millennial generation (or Generation Y) and, in this way, the leader of Meta belongs to the same 'batch' as other big names in sport and music. Remember that Millennials are all people born between the beginning of the 1980s and the end of the 1990s.

As the website Business Insider notes, judging by the followers on Instagram, both Cristiano Ronaldo (634 million followers) and Taylor Swift (283 million followers) have larger legions of followers than Zuckerberg (14 million followers).

“I think there is also some distinction between me and the company. Although our company plays a special role in the lives of this generation, this is probably particularly important for how I present myself, because I am the most well-known person of my generation”, can be read in the email sent by Zuckerberg on the 4th January 2020.

Even though Zuckerberg is one of the best-known (and also youngest) personalities in the world of technology, the creator of Facebook can hardly be considered the best-known person of his generation.
