Six people were found dead this Tuesday in a luxury hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, reports Reuters.
Contrary to what was first reported, the authorities deny that there was a shooting.
The victims are all foreigners, including an American citizen of Vietnamese origin.
The circumstances in which the deaths occurred have not yet been clarified, but according to a police source, who wished to remain anonymous, "there are no signs of a shooting", contrary to what the local media initially reported.
The Thai Prime Minister has already ordered an investigation into the case.
"The prime minister has ordered all agencies to take urgent measures to avoid impacts on tourism," the Thai government said in a statement.
