Honor has officially announced that it is ready to start launching its eye-tracking technology and said that it will be available later this month.
The Chinese company has confirmed that the launch of this technology will take place on 27 August and will be available to users of the Honor Magic 6 Pro. It is known that Honor will make this same technology available for other mobile phones but, according to Android Headlines, the Magic 6 Pro was the only device mentioned by the Chinese company.
To give a small glimpse of what this eye-tracking technology is capable of, Honor has shared a short video in which it gives an account of the possibilities yet to be explored with this innovation.
The video shows Bernard Muller, a person suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) who uses an Honor Magic 6 Pro with this technology to communicate with friends and family. In addition to normal mobile phone use, Muller also has the opportunity to use this technology to harness his creativity and make his own works of art.
