Luís Campos Takes Action And 'Diverts' Bayern Munich Target To PSG

Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of closing in on the acquisition of Désiré Doué, the 19-year-old who last season became an undisputed starter for Rennes.

According to reports on Monday by German television station Sky Sport, the centre-back had all but been agreed with Bayern Munich when the French champions swooped in and managed to 'divert' him to the Parc des Princes.

Fundamental to this outcome was the intervention not only of the president of the Parisian millionaires, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, but also of the sporting director, Luís Campos, who convinced not only the club but also the young prospect.

The same publication also adds that the Gaulish Under-21 international is expected to move to Ligue 1 for a fee in the region of 60 million euros, having already communicated this decision to Bavarian officials.
