Rafael Leão Is Barcelona's 'Plan B' For The Attack

Kingsley Coman is also rumored, given the impasse over Nico Williams.

With less than a month to go until the summer transfer market closes, Barcelona are still actively looking for a new solution for their attacking midfielder, a case that is far from closed.

The historic Blaugrana club's favourite target continues to be Nico Williams, a key figure in the Spanish national team's progress towards winning the European Championship in Germany, who Athletic Bilbao have no intention of letting go of.

The possibility of the 58 million euro termination clause being activated remains on the table, but given the impasse the process has reached, the board led by Joan Laporta has already started looking for alternatives.

One of them, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo on Monday, will be Portuguese international Rafael Leão, whom his compatriot Paulo Fonseca wants to sign at AC Milan. Another possibility is Kingsley Coman, from Bayern Munich.
