On Saturday night, a man drove his car into a bar in A Coruña, Spain. Several people were injured, while tables and chairs were overturned. The driver managed to flee the scene, but was eventually arrested on Sunday.
According to La Voz da Galicia, the incident occurred before midnight. There were around 10 customers in the bar, many of them on the terrace, when they spotted a high-capacity car travelling down the street towards the establishment. All the customers got up, but many of them didn't have time to escape and ended up being shot at.
The driver ended up fleeing and colliding with a vehicle parked in the street during his escape.
Witnesses revealed that the man had planned the whole thing hours before because of an argument with his wife, who was seen leaving a building naked. The man ended up calling an ambulance, which transported the woman due to her nervous state.
The woman returned to the neighborhood some time later, already dressed in hospital pyjamas. Sources linked to the investigation reveal that the woman contacted an ex-partner because she wanted to teach her husband, whom she accused of abusing her, a lesson.
The woman ended up going to the pub, where her husband was. The two got into a violent argument again, where they assaulted each other. The couple were separated by staff and the man ended up leaving the establishment to get his car.
The National Police and several ambulances were on the scene to treat the injured. No-one needed to be hospitalized.
