Pixel 9 Won't Launch With New Android Version

Google's decision to bring forward the launch of its new phones will be reflected in the version of Android that will be pre-installed.

Google has made a habit of launching new Pixel phones at the same time as it releases new versions of its Android operating system. However, the website Android Headlines says that this simultaneous launch will not happen in 2024.

The publication states that the Pixel 9 series will be launched with Android 14 pre-installed, a possibility that is due to the fact that Google has decided to bring forward the launch of the new generation of mobile devices. In previous years, the new Pixel phones were launched in October, but in 2024, Google has decided to reveal the new models in August.

It is worth remembering that Google will announce these phones on August 13. It is believed that the Pixel 9 series will consist of four models: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
