14-Year-Old Girl Dies Sitting On Garden Bench After Russian Attack

A 14-year-old Ukrainian girl died during a Russian attack in Karkhiv while sitting on a park bench next to a children's playground on Saturday.

 

Shocking footage shows the moment when the victim's mother [behind the police officer in the picture] is a few meters from her daughter's body, crying after seeing her daughter lifeless.

‘She was only 14, she had all the time in the world ahead of her,’ she says, quoted by the international press.

According to the Daily Mail, the young girl was decapitated by a missile on Saturday. 

This is not the first death to affect the family in the wake of the war between Ukraine and Russia. The woman's husband disappeared after joining the Ukrainian army and being sent to the Donetsk region.

The scene, shared by Ukrainian officials, is being publicized to prove the brutality that Ukrainian citizens are suffering at the hands of the Russian armed forces, which continue to conduct relentless bombing campaigns in the main cities.

These same sources point out that this new attack comes at a time when hundreds of children were preparing to go back to school.
