French international footballer Adrien Rabiot, who was without a club after his contract with Juventus ended, has joined Marseille, the current second-placed team in the French league announced today.
On its official website, Marseille announced the arrival of the 29-year-old midfielder, after successfully passing the usual medical tests, although it did not disclose the length of the contract.
According to the local press, Rabiot has signed a two-year contract with the team now led by Italian Roberto De Zerbi.
The French international thus returns to French football, where he has always been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, winning six league titles, and with a loan spell at Toulouse at the start of his career.
Rabiot spent the last five years at Juventus, winning one Serie A, but became a free agent at the end of last season, when his contract with the Turin team ended.
With the French national team, the midfielder has played 48 games and scored four goals, having helped Didier Deschamps' team reach the 2022 World Cup final and win the Nations League.
