Man Arrested For Stealing More Than 5,500 Euros Worth Of Perfume At Airport



The Guardia Civil has arrested a man who stole perfumes worth more than 5,000 euros in the departure area of Tenerife airport in Spain.


 

The suspect is a 46-year-old man from Madrid. He allegedly bought several plane tickets which gave him access to the boarding area to carry out the thefts.


After an initial tip-off, the authorities analyzed the video surveillance images that allowed them to identify the possible suspect and arrested him in flagrante delicto. The man allegedly stole items worth a total of 5,570 euros.


The detainee, along with the case file, was handed over to the Granadilla Investigating Court, reports El Confidencial.
