The 'Squid Game' series is one of Netflix's most successful projects, also illustrating the success of South Korean productions among the service's subscribers. However, says the website Deadline that the series may have an American version.
The publication notes that, at the moment, the “details are vague” and that “Netflix has no comment” on the matter, but adds that David Fincher - director known for films such as 'Seven' and 'Em Part Incerta - is involved in the project.
It seems that it is possible that the series will take place in the world of 'Squid Game' and that, of course, it will involve the deadly game that the series is known for.
It's worth remembering that the second season of 'Squid Game' arrives on Netflix later this year, with the release scheduled for December 26th.
