Restaurant Is an Online Success. It Has 75 Thousand Followers But... It doesn't exist

Semerged on Instagram, claiming to be the number one restaurant in Austin, USA.

With amazing photos of plates of food, it quickly gained fans on social media, where it now has more than 75,000 followers.

The place even has a website, with a tab where you can make reservations.

However, it's a fake. The restaurant doesn't exist and everything it presents was created through Artificial Intelligence.

“This restaurant doesn't exist. Ethos, which claims to be the number one restaurant in Austin, has 72,000 followers on Instagram. It seems ordinary, until you realize that the photos of the food and atmosphere are all AI-generated. The posts get thousands of likes and comments from people who have no idea.” The claim was made in a comment made by Justine Moore, a partner in an investment fund focused on AI.

And it seems to be confirmed by the Instagram page, which recently shared a video in its stories featuring a man dressed as Jesus Christ, who laughingly says. “Even I can't get a reservation at this restaurant, and I'm God”.
