A man has been arrested and charged by Scottish authorities following reports that a school bus driver was watching pornographic content while picking up pupils in Denholm, Scotland.

Already this Thursday, Police Scotland said that “a 54-year-old man was arrested and charged” for his actions, while on his way to the grounds of Jedburgh Grammar School.
“The council promptly alerted Police Scotland following concerns raised with school staff by a small number of pupils and we note that an individual has been charged. As the allegations relate to the conduct of one individual, no review of the operator's contract is planned at this time,” said the Scottish Borders council, quoted by the same media.
Bus company Howard Snaith, for its part, confirmed that it had received a complaint about one of its workers, and assured that “all pre-employment checks were carried out on the driver before he started working for the company”.
“Following an internal investigation, the driver's employment contract was terminated with immediate effect,” he added.
