Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with US President-elect Donald Trump for dinner at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
It is not yet clear what was discussed between Zuckerberg and Trump, but the existence of the meeting was confirmed by the tech giant's spokesman, Andy Stone. In confirmation to The Verge, Stone noted that “it's an important time for the future of American innovation”.
“Mark [Zuckerberg] was grateful for the invitation to dine with President Trump and for the opportunity to meet with members of his team regarding the next administration,” Stone noted.
