Tesla Robot Shows Off New Skill In Video Shared By Musk

Tesla owner Elon Musk shared a video on his respective page on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that offers a small update regarding the development of the humanoid robot Optimus.

In the video, whose description indicates that Optimus was given a new hand, it is possible to see the dexterity with which the robot catches a tennis ball that was thrown at him. “Optimus will be like having your own personal C-3PO and RD-D2,” wrote Musk, referring to the iconic robots from the ‘Star Wars’ saga.

It should be noted that Musk has already mentioned in the past that he had the objective of commercializing these robots, noting that they can cost between 25 and 30 thousand dollars (23.6 and 28.4 thousand euros).

Regarding a launch, the owner of Tesla made it known that he plans to start integrating these robots into the company's factories from 2025.
