Anti-aircraft alert sirens were triggered this evening in central and northern Israel, due to drone fire by Hezbollah against Israeli military installations.
The situation followed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's declaration of a ceasefire in Lebanon.
Hezbollah has already issued a statement declaring that it had fired on “sensitive military targets” in Tel Aviv on Tuesday night, following the deadly Israeli attacks in Beirut and the ceasefire announcement.
“In response to the attacks on the capital Beirut and the massacres committed by the Israeli enemy, Hezbollah launched drones on several sensitive military targets in and around Tel Aviv,” the Iranian-backed group said in its text.
