Playstation 5 Pro Has Already 'Conquered' Japan

The PlayStation 5 Pro was officially launched last week and, in the meantime, this more powerful model of the Sony console seems to have already convinced players - especially the Japanese market.

As the website TechRadar reports, Famitsu magazine's weekly sales report indicates that the PlayStation 5 Pro was the most popular console this week with 78,086 units sold. In second place comes Nintendo's Switch OLED with 42,297 thousand units.

It is worth remembering that the PlayStation 5 Pro is, at the moment, the most expensive console on the market and costs 799.99 euros in Portugal. The 'standard' model with game player in physical format is priced at 549.99 euros.

It is worth noting that already during the pre-purchase period, the president of Sony Group, Hiroki Totoki, had mentioned that the performance of the PlayStation 5 Pro was “a little stronger” than that of the PlayStation 4 Pro.
