Russian Authorities Teach Schools How to Protect Against Attacks from Ukraine

Authorities in at least 16 Russian regions have organized sessions in educational institutions for children and teenagers on what to do in the event of an air strike from Ukraine, the Telegram channel Agentstvo reported.

According to the outlet, which analyzed reports from teachers in several institutions, the latest region to join the initiative was Bryansk, which borders Ukraine.

Teachers explained to children what to do if they hear an alarm and rehearsed evacuation to safe places.

The classes in Bryansk coincided with the first attacks on Russian territory with Western long-range weapons, carried out by Kiev's leaders on 19 November.

In total, around 100 sessions were held in 16 regions to prepare children for such attacks.

The Russian Federation today mentioned two more attacks with US ATACMS missiles against the Kursk region, after it launched an Oreshnik hypersonic missile against Ukraine last week.

The Russian military leadership detailed that this Saturday Ukraine fired five ATACMS missiles at positions of an S-400 anti-aircraft missile division, stationed near Lotariovka, 37 kilometers northwest of Kursk, the capital of the homonymous region, which had already been attacked a week ago with British Storm Shadow missiles.

And this Monday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation added that the Ukrainian military launched eight ATACMS against the Kursk-Vostoch airfield, seven of which were intercepted and destroyed by anti-aircraft defenses.
