A 29-year-old man was caught trying to rob a bank in Belmez, Spain, with the help of... a wrench.
The man was arrested by the Guardia Civil, who explained that the incident happened on November 15th.
The agents, according to a note cited by ABC, were notified that an alarm had been triggered due to an invasion of a bank branch.
At the scene, the guards found a broken glass window and, inside the bank, a young man was carrying a large wrench and searching cabinets and drawers.
The man used the tool to break the glass and enter the bank. When surprised, the suspect agreed to leave the agency on his own and was detained.
The young man also had in his possession a cell phone, which was proven to have been stolen from a house in the Balearic Islands a few months ago.
