Former Manchester United player and friend of Cristiano Ronaldo, Patrice Evra, revealed on Thursday night that the Portuguese star wanted to join PSG in the summer of 2018 before he ended up signing for Juventus.
"Has Cristiano ever wanted to go to PSG? Yes. He had PSG, Arsenal... It was before he signed for Juventus. He also had Chelsea. He said he would never go to Arsenal and was interested in the project Parisian. We can criticize Cristiano, but he would have adapted [to PSG]", said Evra, on the program 'Rothen s'enflamme', on RCM Sport.
It is worth remembering that Juventus would end up winning Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer of 2018, paying around 100 million euros to Real Madrid. Three years later, the Portuguese star would return to Manchester United, but things ended up not working out, moving to Al Nassr in December 2022.
