The highlight is Deep Research, a resource that will be able to prepare summaries of topics of the user's choice.
Google announced version 2.0 of its Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Gemini. According to the Mountain View technology company, this new generation is capable of acting autonomously and solving multiple problems simultaneously.
“We've invested over the last few years in developing more agent models, which means they can understand more about the world around them, think several steps ahead and act on your behalf, with your oversight,” explained CEO Sundar Pichai .
Among the new features is a feature of Gemini 2.0 called Deep Research, which is capable of searching for information available on the Internet autonomously and, in the end, presenting a summary on a topic of the user's choice.
This feature will be exclusive to Gemini Advanced subscribers, but other new features will be available directly from Google Search.
