Huawei CEO Richard Yu said at an event in Shenzhen, China, that the latest Mate 70 series of cell phones is a 100% national product.
Yu said that all components of the latest generation of cell phones are produced in China, something he says is a testament to China's autonomy when it comes to semiconductor production.
It is worth noting, however, that the Mate 70 series is not yet available outside of China. The company has an event scheduled for this Thursday, the 12th, where it is expected to announce the new foldable Mate X6.
