A 20-year-old Thai woman died after undergoing painful massages, which aimed to relieve strong pressure she felt in her neck.
According to what she said on her social networks, before being admitted, she was passionate about massage.
Ping Chayada decided to seek a massage to alleviate some pain he was experiencing in his neck and shoulder, but 48 hours later he began to feel even more uncomfortable. He decided to take medication to relieve the pain, without knowing that what he was feeling was not normal.
A week later, Chayada began to feel numbness in his arm, and decided to return to space to receive a second massage. Fifteen days later, the body of the woman, who was a singer, began to stiffen, and the problem became so severe that she was unable to lie down.
Even so, she underwent a third massage, which left her almost immobilized.
On November 6, the woman was hospitalized and ended up dying.
His death is being investigated by Thai authorities, who are awaiting autopsy results, says The Mirror.
It is known that the seven masseuses who worked at the salon were licensed. However, authorities opened an inquiry, and doubts were raised as to whether the massages conformed to traditional Thai massage practice.
