At 200 Meters High, 'Slackliner' Jaan Roose Makes New Crossing

Slackliner Jaan Roose has completed another slackline walk between buildings over 200 meters high in Dubai. He spoke to Reuters about the difficulties.

Three-time slackline champion Jaan Roose has completed another slackline crossing, this time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Roose, a native of Estonia, walked 100 meters between the Jumeirah Emirates Towers on Friday.

The line was 200 meters high and the athlete spoke to Reuters about the difficulty itself.

"The main challenge is technical, the installation itself, because although the [two] buildings look similar to each other, they are different heights," he began by saying.

The difficulty then lay in finding the "right spot" to anchor the highline. "I was going up on the way there and coming down on the way back."
