Nikki Glaser, comedian and host of the Golden Globes telecast, is being heavily criticized.
In his opening monologue, Glaser addressed the controversial trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who is currently in prison for sex trafficking.
"Zendaya, you were amazing in 'Dune.' I woke up to see all your scenes. You were so good... and in 'Challengers'? Oh my God! That movie has more sexual charge than Diddy's credit card. . Seriously!"
But that wasn't the only time Nikki mentioned the musician. Then the artist said: "Sorry, I'm also upset. The 'after party' won't be as good this year but we have to keep going. I know that a party with the actor Stanley Tucci isn't the same fun. There's no oil baby (an object found in large quantities by the police at Diddy's house and which was used at parties) this year, just a lot of oil."
Criticism has emerged on social media, reports the Independent newspaper, with some internet users considering the text "disgusting" and "crazy".
