Carlos Vela is the latest celebrity to be displaced following the wave of fires that have been affecting the city of Los Angeles, located in the US state of California, over the last few days.
On social media, the wife of the 35-year-old Mexican international, Saioa Canibano, reported the tragedy that affected the entire family, who have been living in the country since the summer of last year, when he left for Los Angeles FC, from Real Sociedad, at 'no cost'.
"Our precious house in Malibu burned down yesterday... We are still in shock with everything that is happening... It is very sad and terrifying to see how everything is burning. For all the messages of concern that are reaching us, we are safe", she wrote.
"I send a lot of love to all those affected, and I hope they can put out the fire", she added, in the caption of an image showing the effects of this phenomenon.
