An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck Thailand and Myanmar this Friday.
The alarms went off at around 1.30pm in Bangkok, 6.30am in Lisbon.
The strong tremor was followed by moments of panic, with buildings collapsing, several roads collapsing and dozens of people injured and one dead.
The epicenter of this earthquake was recorded in central Myanmar, about 50 kilometers east of the city of Monywa.
In Bangkok, the earthquake caused a building under construction to collapse and dozens of workers are currently buried in the rubble.
In Myanmar's capital, Naypyitaw, the earthquake damaged religious temples and some houses, according to the country's authorities.
