Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah's contracts expire next June, and with no agreement in sight regarding their renewal, the possibility of them leaving Liverpool is becoming increasingly clear.
On Thursday, former Manchester United captain Gary Neville warned the eternal rivals that, if confirmed, this 'stampede' will leave a "huge hole": "They won't have the money to replace them, and you could say those three are worth a quarter of a billion pounds [300 million euros]".
"We are talking about one of the best strikers in Europe, one of the best defenders in Europe and one of the best right-backs in Europe," he began by stating, in statements made on the YouTube channel 'The Overlap'.
"As good as Liverpool have been in recruitment, we're talking about a quarter of a billion pound hole. They've been good so they can replace them but it's a hell of a task for Arne Slot."
